At 9PM on March 20th of 2008 John Joseph Adams (science fiction and fantasy editor and anthologist) made a request on his blog for a list of conventions that would find the nearest conventions based on postal code. Within 24 hours I had developed and launched ConTainment, a geeky event/convention finder.
